I often rent a 2012 Toyota Camry LE when I fly to other cities. When I pick up a Camry from the airport they always fill the tires under 30psi (cold), yet the ride and handling seems ok. I looked in the door jamb and noticed the recommended tire pressure is 35psi (cold). When I fill the tires to this pressure, the ride is always busy on the freeway and hard in city driving (unlike what a Camry LE should be). I'm using a quality guage to measure inflation. Hi all, Just acquired (from the original owner) a red '99 with beige interior. Other than a few scuffs and tiny dings it's literally brand new. Oil was changed at 10k Tires were checked/aligned at 15k Always garaged since new Driven by one guy (my neighbor) who is now incapacitated (cancer) and will not be coming home So I bought his condo and car to help with his medical bills. 2002 Camry LE, 4 cylinder, Michelin premier a/s performance h/v purchased in 2017, 60,000 mile tread wear warranty. The tread reaches the end of the life only after 33,000 miles, and the tread wear is uneven, i.e. outer tread worn more than the inner one. In contrast, the tread wear is even on my other car.
