There's something nice about how simple they are. It's commonly mentioned that while they are incredibly reliable, some suffer head gaskit leaks. How easy is it to fix this? Is it costly? A couple of gems come up on AutoTrader and CarsAndClassic from time to time, but each time something prevents me from pulling the trigger. One example on CarsAndClassic was on the site for about a year. 1998, V6, 87K miles, immaculate. I was going to buy it once then unfortunately had to pay for a funeral. Then next time I had to prioritise some works to my home. This time I got my bonus and it was sold a few ..read more

I have a 2015 Camry. My back windshield tint has bubbled up to the point that I can’t see clearly out of my back window. Inquired to a professional tint shops and was told by both that I would lose my back defrost system when they stripped the old tint off. Hello, I am looking to buy a Toyota Camry. There are two 2013 Toyota Camrys I am looking at. One is the 2.0L VVTI Petrol Automatic 4 Speed Transmission and the other is the 2.5 Dual VVTI Petrol Automatic Six Speed (I think) Transmission. Both are same spec Camrys. Driving in the UK with quite expensive Petrol prices I obviously want to have the best MPG. My question is will there be a big noticeable difference in real MPG? I drive mostly Motorways driving. Also are there others advantages and disadvantages between the two. I will be buying one, I just want to make the correct choice. Thank you ..read more

I have a 2014 Camry SE. About 3 years ago the motor for the passenger front door went bad so I spent almost $300 for a new motor and assembly from the dealer.  They would not sell the motor by itself. Now the front drivers door, rear passenger door and the front passenger door (AGAIN) motors have gone bad. Only the rear drivers side lock works now. Either with the key fob or switch on the drivers door. So I have to unlock or lock all other doors by hand. Any advise besides DO NOT buy another Camry. Thanks ..read more

Car is a 2002 Camry MCV30R (1MZ-FE / XLE). I'm trying to find out what the physical difference is between these two parts. All I can find out, and all my local dealer can tell me, is that one is for North American built cars, whereas the other is for Japanese built cars. 53801-AA020 (also listed as -33120 and -33110) - dealer tells me this is the NA LHD car OSF / passenger front wing. 53801-33100 (also listed as -33140) - dealer tells me this is the Japanese RHD car OSF / driver front wing. Does anyone know if there is a physical difference between them, or if the different part numbers are ..read more
