I'm trying to decipher what exactly I have. I was told it was a 427 but upon pulling the engine found it's a 454 block. Engine casting number is either 3999289 P or 8999289 P. Above that is stamped GM T12. On the opposite side of the rear block it has. H25 73.
Intake manifold is stamped: GMT 3955287 2. And C2 71
Any help would be greatly appreciated ..read more
