Hi, had my engine out and back in and got this code and got the abs inop light. The used to be a race car and over the years it would come on at random then go away, maybe 4 times in 14 yrs racing. I've had the engine in and out prob 7 times and I've never had this light. Nkw I've restored the whole car so the brake lines were left open for like 2.5 yrs. c1244, the scanner says "left front channel wont move CURRENT". Don't know why current is capitalized. I tried to cleae the code but it won't clear. Would unhooking the battery reset something? Anyone have a clue what this means? Thanks ..read more

I just replaced the master cylinder, slave cylinder, and reservoir in a full set from AC Delco. It appeared to be the same but once fully installed the clutch pedal is about 2 - 3" away from previous position (in line with brake pedal) and the clutch doesn't fully disengage when pushed to floor. I read some reviews that said that they had to "extend the master cylinder"?? but I'm not to sure what that entails. I have read somewhere that the factory tach does not always read correctly.
I hooked up a scan tool and the RPM is right around 800 at idle when warm which I believe should be about right but my dash tach reads 1100.
Is there a way to adjust the dash tach to read correctly ..read more

95 Z28 LT1 will start and die continuously for 20 times then idle and then once shut off will do the same thing. It has a new fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, idle air control valve, opti spark harness plug, ignition control module and ignition coil. I’m lost at this point, fuel pump was bad when I got vehicle hints why it was replaced. But I can’t seem to find out why it won’t just idle. Please help, I just tested the injectors and they are all reading a resistance of 10.2-10.5 ohms. After Closer Inspection my wires are cut in multiple spots, exposed wires etc. Could this be m ..read more

This weekend I replaced the intake gaskets following shoeboxes cam removal guide. It started up great, but the radiator fans won’t kick on and the temp is steadily rising.
I replaced the coolant that was drained, would burping possibly solve this issue, or is there something I could have forgotten ..read more

Wondering why the oil pressure is low at hot idle with the check gauges light on. Has a brand new oil pressure sensor. Its got 5w30 oil with a stp oil filter. No engine knocks or ticks. Oil on the dipstick looks good with no gas smell. Pressures shoot up like normal when I hit the gas ..read more
