March 13, 2020: It was the last day of our 3-week vacation, and two days before the start of the two-week enhanced community quarantine in Manila, Philippines. Our hotel was located just a few miles from Ninoy Aquino International Airport, but we decided to head there early as I wasn’t sure how the traffic was. We were filled with wonderful memories seeing family and friends during our stay, but we were also very worried of what will happen next. I don’t remember much of the flight back. I just remember going to the market the day after our arrival and finding empty shelves. All photos taken w ..read more

It was only this year that I started using a bike with ..read more

The camera I’ll be using for the second half of the Frugal Film Project 2021 is Minolta X-570 paired with Minolta MC Rokkor-PF 55mm f/1.7. My film choice is Kodak Gold 200 since it’s the least expensive film stock I found in my area. I bought the camera a few years ago for $20 USD and the lens was a gift from my mom’s friend. Frugal Film Project – The Zine! -is available here. Photo was shot with Contax TVS on Ilford HP5 ..read more
