A new git-based development environment

Hi everyone, For a few years now we have pondered whether git would be the right VCS for the development of 0 A.D. One of the main selling points of git is the ability to create numerous branches for parallel development of features and bugfixes. Several popular platforms (Github, Gitlab.com, ...) leverage this to provide a feature-packed development environment, where people can contribute, discuss, review, and test patches. Suggestion for chariots

I feel like chariots need to be changed because barely anyone actually uses them and they have a much higher hit-point than other units so they aren't the ideal choice of champion. The suggestion I'm proposing is to allow the soldier who shoots to be able to shoot at enemies while the chariot is moving. It would make sense for this to work because the guy shooting isn't controlling the horses dragging the chariot so it's actually realistic. Increase selection limit over 200

Unsure why this is a thing but as we know there is a limit of how many units you can select (limit 200). Although this isn't a problem for most games, in 1v1s, this can affect gameplay as you can't select all your units depending on how much pop you're playing with.   ..read more

After installing Microsoft Office, your system will automatically open .docx  .xlsx  files with Word or Excel. Can 0A.D. improve the installer such that it does the same with all .pyromod files after it is installed? Set the default app to open .pyromod files to be 0A.D. Hello, first I clarify that I am using a translator for this text since I do not speak English. I introduce myself, I play 0A.D. Wagers/Tournaments for 0 A.D.

I've been playing wagers/tournaments on games related to COD/warzone/fortnite for a few years now and would like to see some sort of wagering system here. Regular tournaments or ability to wager in games would make the game a lot more competitive and fun as you will actually be playing for something unlike now where the only option you have to play for something is points and that is limited to 1v1's. Two suggestions regarding the naming of some files

Hi! I've dug a lot in 0ad's files lately and I've noticed two small things regarding the naming of files: 1. There are two 'standing_stone' templates. One in the treasures folder and one in the ruins folder. They are almost identical, use the same actor. Why not just remove one of them? Or at least rename them to avoid to different objects being called the exact same?   2. All civ emblems are called 'emblem_' + civ name. For example 'emblem_macedonians' and 'emblem_kushites'. But for some reason, the Gaul one is called 'emblem_celts'. I don't really see a reason to call them Celts here be ..read more
