Car came in from body shop with all dash light on. Abs, brake, lane assists, traction control . Keep setting steering angle needs calibrated. So a couple weeks ago i noticed that my car made a loud sound when cold starting and had bubbles in the power-seeking reservoir. Especially if its cold out. Found out it was leaking Power-seeking fluid. I have 2010 accord EX L v4 4 door. Found a video on replacing the power steering pump o ring. I just replaced the o ring and there is no loud noise and the leak seems to have stopped. My problem now is the timing belt makes that weird noise that only happened after the powersteering leak. Wife's car. 2017 Honda Accord V6 Auto. 66k miles. The following is as much info as I can get from her because it doesn't act up for me. We bought the car 2 years ago used, it doesn't get a ton of miles. It's currently at 66k miles. Car has an intermittent problem. It seems like transmission related to me. so my 06 accord died on me yesterday (168k miles roughly). i was driving on the highway, went to switch lanes to pass someone, and the engine revved up high but i was losing speed. i pulled off to the side of the highway, and the car wouldnt move. i tried all gears, the normal drive as well as lower gears, and reverse. when i switch gears, the parking gear does disable, as the car will start to roll forward as if the brakes are disengaged. the fluid level for the transmission is good, the fluid is clean and full. i tried turning the car off and letting it cool down a bit. the car starts with n ..read more

My daughter has a 2007 Accord EX, and the alternator went out a little over a year ago. I replaced it with an AutoZone Duralast alternator and replaced the battery. At around 3 months, she called me while driving and said smoke was coming out from the engine area. It turned out the alternator was about to catch on fire. I'm 10 hours away, so she had a local person replace the alternator with the warrantied Duralast.
