Really hate to let my jet go, but I deploy for an assignment out if the country and don't have a home for it to sit anymore. Its a complete all original 94 gl iii, besides the wheels. I was last using it as my daily driver about 5 or 6 years ago but its all there. Will obviously need fluid flushed and lines checked, but it didn't and isn't leaking anything. I had some fire damage in the front driver side of my 2014 Jetta TDI. Some significant damage but I am going to repair it. There is a sensor (I'm assuming) just behind the driver airbag impact sensor (between the radiator and the driver headlight) that is damaged, along with the wiring connected to it. I recently changed my timing chain, however the engine light went on and the code is timing belt. The code could not be reset, I was told maybe the timing mark is off a little which triggers the sensor. The car runs fine but it does take a while to crank, where as it did not before. I just bought a 07 Jetta and found that all 4 doors do not lock when you press the key fob or the internal lock button. I’ve changed the key fob battery and the car battery and still the car doesn’t lock. If you press lock on the fob, the lights flash and the doors “sound” like they are locking but do not. The trunk is the only thing that does lock with the button. Does anyone have experience with this and if there is any suggestions to what is the issue ..read more

I have an '07 Jetta, 87K miles and it seems to be falling apart. Purchased used from VW dealer in 2011. EPC light comes on DAILY after driving for 10 - 15 mins on the hwy commute to work. Tried different fuel grades & seems to act-up more frequently with lower grade fuel. Occasionally stalls while idling (scarry when that happens in the middle of an intersection). I have a 2017 Jetta 1.4 SEL Both the turn signals and the hazard flashers appear to be working inside the car. However none of the bulbs are flashing. Fuses have been checked all AOK. Bulbs are not blown. I also did a hard reset of the vehicle. Does anyone have any ideas? TIA ..read more
