For those unaware, Diablo 2 Resurrected stopped having any major patches after 2.6, and it looks like they are just doing the automated ladder releases. It's like they pulled the developers / team away from the project all of a sudden. What this means for me is an interesting problem and question. If you could mod d2 resurrected, mainly changes to runewords, skill scaling, synergies, enemy hp / damage / resistances, what would you do, or what would a RBD consensus look like? After reading Sullla's writeup of his Hydra Sorceress (with Nova as the backup), I've got the urge to give it a shot myself. First thing I did though, was to wipe my save files, save for the trapper assassin who I actually wanted to continue now. This included the shared stash, so my 2.5 start was a "semi-clean" slate. So returning to RB has triggered my old reflex of writing about the games I play; It helps my motivation and focus, and I love reading other people's writeups so it's only fair to return the favor. Inspired by T-Hawk starting star teams, I finally embarked on my own, softcore version, with the first one having the theme of blue or gemmed items only. This means no runewords, rares, cube-craft of the blood-safety-hitpower-caster quartet, uniques or sets.
