Hi, apologies in advance for the tyre post... I am about to pick up a new 1250 GS/A next week here in the UK. It comes stock with Bridgestone Battlax A41 as a 90/10 tyre and I have heard some horror stories about their wet weather tarmac performance. It has not stopped raining here since last October and one of the reasons for buying the GS is the weather protection so I can extend the riding season. Gents - My '04 GSA oil cooler has been banging around on the beak for awhile now. I peeked underneath and it looks like these two bolts are missing on both sides. View attachment 5879925 I assume these are the culprits? Can anyone confirm that these bolt holes are indeed for the oil cooler? Bike in question would be a 2010 GSA, 30000kms. Would be pretty much a site unseen purchase (subject too, bike is not in the province and would be shipped over) Give me the dirt. I know about the fuel strip... sounds very annoying. How often does it really fail? I have had a 1150 GS, currently have a 17 r1200RS (feeling cramped at 6'5). What else should I be weary of? Hey Trying to get my 23 1250GS set up. I want the 37/33L Givi Outback side cases. Which racks do I need to mount to my bike? I saw one but it looked like it was pushed out on the right side and the 33L side case has an indent for the muffler. I am trying to minimize the WIDE bike thing so am going with the thinner side boxes....and the rack that popped up in Revzilla looked like on that would push it out futher than it needs to Best Bakes ..read more
