Hi all, My 2018 1.4l Renegade has a cylinder 2 misfire (Recall # 18V524000). Mechanic (not the dealership) says there is no compression on the cylinder. I noticed there is a recall on the PCM and wondering if this would have caused the cylinder misfire. Anyone have the torque spec for the outer tie rod end of a 2018 Renegade (the steering knuckle end, not the jam nut)? I checked Alldata and it says 30 ft ibs. That seems low. I also found another spec online of 22 ft ibs plus 90 degrees, but I've never heard of a tie rod end nut but being TTY. I've also seen the tie rod end being sold both with a castle nut and cotter pin as well as a with a conventional nut with a nylon insert. Unfortunately it hasn't been easy to find clear information about technical specs and how to perform anything more complicated than an oil change. New alternator last month, New battery yesterday. Battery reads 12.1 without start and 11.8 when running as long as the jumper box is on.
