I own a 2017 Toyota Prius. Recently I had an error message appear on the dashboard saying Blind Spot Monitor Malfunction - Please Contact Your Dealer. I wan't immediately bothered because I have a service warranty and I felt sure the issue would be covered. However, I took it in to the dealer for a diagnosis, and they blamed me for having a bump on the back wing 6 months earlier. Hi all. I have a 2017 Prius Plus Excel. Over the last few months the seat or vicinity there's a creaking noise when accelerating or pulling away, its a definite creak and I've tightened the seat bolts and put rubber washers under the bolts as well as lubed the runners and all visible parts under the seat. Hey everyone, I drove the new Prius this week, apparently it is only available as a PHEV. The one I test drove was an Excel in Scarlet Flare (so over £40k list). I really like new appearance and the Prius has these little 'easter eggs' throughout the car, which is a fun game to try find them all. I did think the boot space is a little bit smaller than the outgoing model (however I am not sure if this is just me). Hi. I've owned my used 2009 Prius since January this year. Its in great condition and has only done 63000 miles. Over the last fortnight however it makes a distinct humming noise when driving. The sound seems to appear at around 35mph and becomes increasingly louder the faster I drive. I'm worried this might be a CVT transmission problem? The sound happens when driving in all directions, there's no vibration in the steering wheel or on the brake or acceleration pedal. I wondered if anyone might have any idea what it is please? I recently ordered the new Prius Plug-In. On Monday the order status changed. A tick appeared next to Left the factory and a Black Dot (ungrayed) appeared against In Transit. Having read postings about VOT on another forum from about 18 months ago, the consensus was that the  Black Dot indicated the current status (though the colour scheme was different then, with red ticks and red dots) . So that would mean my car is now at Portbury Docks. As title suggests, I’m looking at gen 2 Priuses with FSH and low mileage, preferably 06-09. What would I need to look out for or check, above standard used car checks?
