I have a 2008 Prius with over 300K miles. The clock had been frequently restarting and then the vehicle wouldn't start and had no power throughout. I replaced the 12V, after it tested as bad. However, I am still not getting any power from the battery. I can jump start the car, but the dash lights don't come on when I do so. The console display will come on following the jump. new here. apologies if this isn’t the right forum for this Q. when I open the doors after washing my new ‘24 base model, all of the door jambs/etc. are pretty wet (compared to my experience with other cars). Takes a while to towel dry the inside of all the doors. That could be normal. When attempting to turn on the heater/ac unit remotely using my remote Digitial Key (iPhone), I keep getting the following error message: "Remote Command Interrupted. Try again." When I do, same-same, over and over again. The weird part is that I CAN lock and unlock the doors remotely, no problem. While driving our 2010 prius around we suddenly felt a jolt and the "check Hybrid system" light appeared. No other lights are on. After looking at some stuff online I decided to check oil level. It was high, and I drained some from the oil pan. The Air Intake seems to have a little oil in it. Would this be the cause of our issue? 12v battery is good, and runs around 12.1v.
