Hello, From my understanding, someone broke into this car at some point and tampered with the fuse box. The left-side volume and media steering wheel controls are not working. The right-side controls for HVAC and car information work fine. Is this typically a problem with the switches, or is it another problem? I searched the form for my issue, but was unable to find anything specific to the problems I am having. The VSC light came on my dash. Subsequently the doors stopped responding to the key fob. Every time I started, the horn beats. The interior lights stopped working, even with the door open. For the last few nights our Prius is in the driveway and all of a sudden the interior lights flash on and off (lighting up our bedroom!) and the doors unlock and lock randomly, multiple times. And it did it during the day. Anybody have any thoughts OR experience this? Thank you ..read more

This isn't as bad as when my dog died....but it's close. My 2015C died yesterday, with 595,429 on the odometer. I was really certain that 600K was coming. But it wasn't meant to be....a blown head gasket, and the repair costs were just too much. But one thing I learned....Hybrid is the ONLY way to go. I don't understand why all cars aren't hybrid. I’ve got to decide on having the bank entirely refurbished or retiring my faithful old car. It’s at 275k miles, has had regular maintenance and such. Will I regret spending $1200 for a refurbished bank versus selling as-is? I have had car for six years, paid very little for it. So I’ve definitely got my use out of it. I’m getting a 4Runner and need to make room for it. I have an 06 Prius at about 250k miles with either a dead 12v or hybrid battery that was running fine before that. It has other issues like the dash not lighting up and ac is out but I was still using it as a daily driver. Hi, A local garage replaced the ABS pump Brake Actuator 47070-47050. When finished the hazard warning lights were on but no left or right indicators was working. The mechanic discovered online the solution was to cut a wire to the hazard warning lights, saying its a design fault from Toyota and that's how it is. I can't aaccept that's how it is and am sure there is a solution to getting the car back to its normal operational mode. If anyone has experienced this problem / phenomenon and...
