My cousin brought his 2013 Escape over this morning and wanted me to replace the bulb for the driver side front turn signal. What a PITA! I watched a few youtube videos before I started so I kinda knew what to expect. One guy even recommended removing the entire front bumper cover just to get at the damn bulb! Whoever designed the European Kuga/Escape platform should be drawn and quartered.  Had to change a simple low beam xenon bulb on the passenger side of daughter’s 2014 escape titanium.  You can see the bulb through a 3.5” hole but it’s held on with 2 tiny torx screws and the hole faces the firewall.  Impossible for me to see to get the screws out although a couple of folks on YouTube claim to have done it.   No problem I’ll just pop out the headlamp.  Except ONE of the 3 headlamp bolts are behind the bumper cover and inaccessible.  So you have to remove the entire ..read more

I now have 9000 miles on my Vapor blue escape and love it.   I keep getting a battery saver message on my Ford Pass. I get it on the SYNC4 screen when i open the door, and the interior lights do not come on either. Once i start the truck, the lights and Sync4 come on. I went to the dealer and they tell me there is nothing wrong with the battery. I have a voltmeter coming today from Amazon, and i am going to check the battery myself. I'm trying to set my charge limit to 90% but it's not working. On my FordPass app, - charging, - preferred times, I have the location entered and set to "use preferred". The next page on the app says Max charge level 90%, Anytime. On the car's touchscreen under "charging", it says charged 100% but under preferences it says "charge to 90%"   So why is it not working?
