I realized I had a mouse problem when I discovered a pile of white insulation on the passenger side floor. I've just trapped my 5th mouse in my 2023 Ford PHEV Escape with less than 10K miles. I removed the cabin air filter and discovered a nice little nest on top of the filter. Somehow, these mice are getting into the passenger compartment from the filter compartment into the passenger area. I haven't been able to determine how. Hi. There has been oil leaking in my 2017 escape between the turbo and the intercooler and on the tubing. The garage says it will be $2800 to replace the oil fuel separator but this seems excessive. This is a trusted mechanic but I think I’m going to take my escape back to the dealer. I know no one on forums could give me a diagnosis for my vehicle but $2800 for just that? 2016 2.0. The AC will blow cold when driving. If sitting at a stop light or in traffic not moving it will start blowing hot until I'm moving again. If I'm eating and just parked, it will blow hot until I take the rpms up to about 1500 then it will blow cold with no problems. Any ideas? I did check the freon and I believe it's good ..read more
