Hi all, Anyone else having, or had issues, with rear window lift hinges rotting on their Escape? I never use this window to access the back, opting to open the main tailgate lift. Its probably a good thing too because right now the hinges are basically crumbling and I'm afraid one will snap off when lifted. Its leaving streams of crap down the window too, that actually stain the glass. It looks like they are made of some sort of white metal casting or metal alloy of some kind. What a job, got is all apart but while lifting the cover out of the engine bay, my son was in the wheel well thought is would be a good idea to remove the crankshaft position sensor pulse(trigger) wheel. So we all know what my question is. He didn't know it makes a difference as to the which crankshaft key is used and didn't pay attention to the orientation. Hi all, I have a 2009 Ford Escape XLT 2.5L with 281,000 miles that has had a DTC in the PSCM of 1342-2F ever since I had the battery replaced over a year ago. Power steering intermittently goes out, mostly during rainy days, and always comes back if we restart the car. I have seen other posts where people have replaced the steering wheel position sensor or cleaned ground contacts with success. Passenger rear window will not roll down. Neither the switch at the door, nor the driver switch, will work. When trying it from the driver switch, I message pops up stating the Rear Right Door is Ajar, then goes away. No door ajar icon, or dome light, just that message. Suggestions ..read more

Hi all, I've recently replaced the driver's window regulator on my 2008 Escape, and for the life of me cannot find the two screws that hold the regulator to the actual glass.
