Howdy, my Rav is coming up on it's 3rd birthday and I'm considering my options for extending the maintenance plan on it. I was out of my maintenance window for it's last service so I was unable to use Toyota care for its 25k service. My question is for people who have bought ToyotaCare+ and how much did you pay for it. I know taking my Rav to a trusty shop nearby, the price for an oil change is ~$94. This doesn't include tire rotation. Had my Woodland for a bit over a year now and this week upgraded to 235/60/18 Wildpeak AT Trails. ? Small recap on fuel economy for anyone that cares. My Woodland on the stock tires averaged 39.7mpg after 15months and just shy of 15k miles. 7,000 of that was with a +1.5" spring lift. The lift had no impact on fuel economy. The car and hand calculations have been pretty similar for me(+/- 0.4mpg), but I verified every tank since the lift. I am going to Miracle Toyota here in Central Florida for an appointment to drive a RAV4 today. I'll be trading my Subaru Forester. I am starting with a white Limited trim non-hybrid with nutmeg interior which I love the looks of. I am about to receive my 2024 RAV4 LE shortly and I'm considering how to reuse my old steel winter rims from my 2016 RAV4 LE on this new vehicle. From what I recall, the old rim size should be exactly the same except for the offset. They have an offset of 45mm, but the new car requires 35mm. What can I do in this case? I'm unsure if using spacers would work as the difference is only 10mm, and if I use a 0.5" spacer ring, I might lose the hub-centric alignment. So I have an 09 Rav that just hit 200k miles. 3 weeks ago it started making a pretty subtle belt squeal and then within 48 hours the alternator failed. Lost all power, battery light on and no charge. Had to tow it to a shop I really didn't want to but they're close by. Replaced the alternator and everything seemed good. 3 weeks later it's the exact same thing.
