I recently purchased a set of EBC Ultimax2 brakes and rotors for my 2013 EXL. I noticed right now upon removing the old brakes which happen to be OEM Honda pads, they have a V shaped tension spring that goes on tiny holes within the brake pads and the EBC pads dont have those holes. Am I still able to use the EBC without them or are the V shaped tensioners a must reinstall when replacing the brakes? So my tail lights still turn on when I turn the head lights on but do not light up when I put my foot on the brakes. Today I was driving home from work and the “check brake system” light came on and will not go off. Outside of this I have so far changed the rubber stopper behind the pedal AND the switch above it. so i’ve been hearing clunking noise from front passenger side when going over bumps and bad roads, steering feels very unplanted at highway speeds, does not make noise when turning or jerking the steering wheel. i turned my wheels so i can look without jacking up the car, used a pry bar and don’t notice any play in the stabilizer end links or bar. the struts seem fine, i pushed down with my body weight and it still stiff doesn’t bounce or make noise. im suspicious of my passenger side motor... help a lazy person out lol ..read more
