So I was putting new shoes in the rear and I wanted to flush the brake fluid as it hasn’t been done since before I owned the car. Both front calipers went fine then on the drum my bleeder screw broke off. I tried to block it off while waiting for a new bleeder but everything drained out anyway. Hey, I've got an unidentified source of rust in my Honda. It’s located on the front doors at the bottom sills. The drainage channels are clear; I took apart the door and poured water over the window to check what would happen, but the water flows through the channels as it should. The mechanic told me it's not the seal, but I have my doubts. Please pay attention to the seal ,as it has some rusty residue on it. Where does water come from ? Any idea ? Hello, I have a 2008 honda civic si sedan. Purchased it about a year ago and down the road ive had to do a lot of stuff. Just recently got a ktuner v1.2 for the car. Some other mods i have are a short ram intake, and an exhaust system, when i got the ktuner I uploaded a basic basemap and for the first few days ran great. Hi all, I’ve been at this all afternoon and have hit a brick wall. 2010 8th gen Civic EX R18 motor auto tranny when I put the key in the ignition the drivers side engine cooling game stays on until I remove the key. Ive replaced all the fan relays under the hood. Coolant flush OEM Honda thermostat both upper and lower ETC sensors with know good parts. I grabbed freeze frame data and the ETC is showing -40 the Temp gauge on the dash as far as I can tell is behaving normally as it should. i live in S. Hey all I thought I was low on oil in my new Honda civic 1.8 i-vtec sport (the dip stick design is abysmal!). So I accidentally overfilled with just below a liter of oil. I drove about 90 km, and didn't notice any problems. I then found out I had overfilled the engine, and sucked out the majority of the oil I added. I think maybe it's still overfilled with a few hundred ml. Would I have noticed if the overfill had been a problem? Or could it still be a problem? I have a 2010 honda accord k24z3 that was an automatic but I just swapped in a 9th gen civic si transmission running on my automatic ECU and it's great but now I want to turbo. The problem is it looks like from want I can find Ktuner doesn't offer much tuning options for the 8th gen accord ECUs so I wanted to swap in a 9th gen si ECU as it has much more support and Hondata support as well.
