You've really done a lot to figure this out! I remember watching a helpful YouTube video about why refrigerators can get too cold and how to fix them. Maybe it can help you too. Here’s the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=no6HLWvyn9Y Check it out, it might just have the answer you need! statistics: Posted by jordanleecreations62 — 6:45 AM - 2 days ago ..read more

Ensure the pilot light and burner tube are clean and unobstructed. Adjust the pilot light flame height if possible. Check for gas pressure issues or a faulty gas valve. statistics: Posted by Seyyedzada5111 — 3:03 PM - 1 day ago ..read more

I have a Whirlpool Dishwasher Wdf520padm7 Fairly recently we've noticed that often after a wash there is a greasy feeling red/orange grime after the wash cycle is complete (see attached picture, probably the worse we've ever seen it). We don't eat greasy foods at all and we rinse our dishes fairly well before putting them into the washer (and we don't eat a lot of spaghetti and cant think of what the red/orange is coming from).  Additionally, I've had a rotten egg smell coming from the garbage disposal when the dishwasher is draining and sometimes when I open the dishwasher door. I removed the burner and adjusted the air gas ratio. The burner now ignites when it is cold. However, if I ignite it and then turn it off and immediately try to reignite it won't. Needs to cool down for a few seconds first. statistics: Posted by superdow — 1:08 PM - 2 days ago ..read more

There can be several possibilities including:  It's possible that even though the diagnostics passed for the thermistors (temperature sensors), one of them might be malfunctioning slightly. A slight variance in readings could be causing the refrigerator to think it's warmer than it actually is and continue cooling excessively.  A problem with the defrost system could be preventing the refrigerator from reaching its proper temperature. This could be due to a faulty defrost timer, defrost heater, or clogged defrost drain line. Ice buildup around the evaporator coils or blocked vents w ..read more

Continuity doesn't guarantee a perfect fix. Check: Thermal Fuse: A blown fuse cuts power to an overheating element. Replace if needed. Connections: Double-check all wiring connections you loosened, especially at the heating element, thermostat, and high-limit switch. If those aren't causing the problem, a cycling thermostat could be the issue, but it's less common. For further troubleshooting, consult your dryer's manual or call a qualified appliance repair technician. statistics: Posted by oj123 — 5:52 AM - Today ..read more

I have a Samsung RT46K6000WW fridge. I was out of town for a week and because of an issue, my apartment didn’t have electricity for several days while I was gone. Because of this, the frozen food in the freezer (including meats) melted, and some of it spilled over the bottom insulation styrofoam (see pictures). I cleaned it as much as I could, kept the fridge doors open for a few days, and tried putting activated carbon in the freezer, but it still smells horribly. Is there anything I can do to fix this? One person on the internet was recommending pouring vinegar water through the insulation ..read more
