We have had a GE JS645SLSS electric range for almost 1 year. At month 11 the fan motor starting making a humming noise when using the oven. What's odd is the humming noise now occurs when you turn on the any of the top burners (even when the oven is not being used) This noise never occurred until the 11 month mark. Hi there, I have an Insignia fridge model NS-RTM12SS7-C that was in storage for a couple of years (vertically). Symptoms: When first plugged in, after a few seconds the compressor starts, then turns off. Inside the fridge, the controller alternatively flashes all 5 LEDs on the electronic controller, then the middle one. I get error codes 6-1 and 6-4, have replaced the inlet valve and the float switch, no help. Also checked the float switch, both new and old one check good. Checked the door swith also and it is good. funny thing is it will run through a cycle just not let any water in, funny it will have the error code and still run through a cycle? Hi, my dishwasher is no longer filling with water. Model is W10579095A. I started investigating the water inlet valve. I measured voltage at the control board and it measure 120V (P6-7 & P6-9). Then I measured voltage at the clips which connect to the water inlet valve and it drops to 12V. Any advice on what could be causing this voltage drop? Thanks ..read more

Hey. First post here. I have a GE Fridge. I believe the model number is FRS26R2AW8. I tried to get water from it. Neither will the fridge dispense ice or water. The fridge does cool. I unplugged it for a few minutes also thinking it would do something. I pressed down three buttons on the front panel to see the “00 00” numbers. Hi The broil element turns on high when baking (normal baking and convestion baking). Not only during warm up, but later when baking. We need to turn off and on the breaker to make it work (sometimes it takes a one shot, others time many shots). Since it turns on during baking, we need to always check the oven.
