I have replaced my control board, run onboard diagnostic and the evap fan passes as do all other tests. The problem is that the fan will not run consistently. The fridge will cool for hours and then just stop. Sometimes when I unplug and plug it back in the evap fan starts immediately. Other times the coil fan will start then kick off with a click upon reset. The compressor doesn’t get over 120degrees. The coil defrost seems to be working but haven’t tested with multimeter (there is water in th ..read more

Model Number: SF114PXSW0
Brand: Whirlpool
Age: 10 years? IDK
Does anyone have any clue about F2E0 on a whirlpool SF114PXSW0? Basic google shows it could be a stuck button or keypad/control board issue. I don't think it has to do with a stuck button because I cannot reproduce the issue just holding down buttons and all the buttons make beeping noises when pressed anyways and I don't hear any mystery beeps. Additionally it only seems to do this while cold and before preheating once. If it makes it past 7-10 or so minutes of preheating the issue wont happen.
I see videos on youtube of other mod ..read more

Hi all,
Trying to figure out how to get my crisper drawer LED replaced. It’s 4 of them, I’m assuming one is partially shorting(could be a lose connect if all are in series), as it will come back when I bump the housing. For the life of me I can figure out what needs to come out to remove the crisper vent assembly to then access the tabs of the light
Item 39 is the light. 40 and 37 are the housing enclosing them. Tried just removing the lense but there really isn’t access to remove the clip.
Can’t tell if I need to remove the fridg ..read more

I have a Whirlpool WED95HEDW1 that will not run. The panel lights up and I am able to select different dryer modes, but nothing happens when I press the start button. If I don't turn it off, then the timer still counts down, but the motor doesn't make a sound and of course the drum does not turn.
If I have the door open when I press start, it beeps at me to let me know the door is open.
I've disassembled it and checked the heater and blower thermal fuses for continuity, and both are s ..read more

I’m replacing the condenser fan motor on my fridge and when I removed the blade from the original motor it took some effort to remove and I noticed a blue type of adhesive on the motor shaft. The blade slides right on the new one and will just spin on the shaft so I need to know what that adhesive is or what else can be used because it is needed. Thanks in advance ..read more

Model Number: 110.15962401
Brand: Sears Kenmore
Age: More than 10 years
Sorry if this post is long just wanted to explain the problem thoroughly. Does anyone know what could be causing the internal pins of kenmoore elite washing machine timer to melt together on 2 different timers? The washer was bought new in 2004 or 2005 but we didnt start using it untill 2012 since we were able to fix the old one.
The first timer lasted 10 years then the permanent press cycle that was used the most stop working while the other cycles still worked sort of. We believe it was causing the breaker to trip. So i ..read more

Age: 6-10 years
My son gave me his Samsung RF28JBEDBSR/AA-08, which was settled by Samsung in the Class Action lawsuit. This fridge is much nicer/bigger (28 cu ft) than my 15 year old 20 cu ft fridge, and I'd like to possibly repair the original ice maker freezing-up issue with the service kits being advertised. Since I'm 73 and on a limited budget I really need to be careful that IF I order a service kit that it will work. I have provided a pic of my service tag to help. It appears that my Serial Number (07Y843AJ400731B) falls within the service ..read more

Hi all , i was wondering , we have an older 27 inch drop in stove that the oven coils are broken. This stove i think is a "drop in" , as it don't really sit on the floor. I'm guessing it was custom installed originally as the buttons to turn on the burner are on the wall to the right side, not on the stove itself. So it seems that these drop in stoves at that size are pretty hard to find for one thing, but does anyone know if this would be on a standard outlet? I mean are all stoves on a 220 line , or could this one be different? Are these usua ..read more
