I was trying to figure out why the front end seemed loose even after a front end alignment. The car felt unstable as if a strong wind was pushing the car. It turns out the lower bolt that holds the Whoosh trac bar in place has broken off and not working any more. There is definite play in the lower control arm which is probably what I was feeling.
This repair seems to be rather complicated for a backyard mechanic. Does it have to be done at the dealer or could a place like Pep-Boys handle it ..read more

Hi friends! I string my own alignments with the Quicktrick alignment setup. I know what specs I run, I’m curious what everyone else out there is doing too!

SuperPro Caster LCAs
-3.1 Camber - LF
-3.0 Camber - RF
1/8” Toe out
Yes. More camber where my butt goes. That’s because I don’t throw 200lbs of stuff on my front seat when I measure ?. When I get in the car squats out 0.1° I achieve that much camber with BC BR Coils and Camber bolts.

Are the Wilwood brake kits loud and clunk a lot? I am getting a strange clunk in the front end, not big, not all the time and not for the same reason but it is the same clunk. I have taken apart the suspension and put back together including the wilwood kit and can not get this clunk to go away or show its ugly face as to what causes it.
Anyone with anything to say about that? Its not the top hat, brand new struts, brand new springs, brand new Wilwood BBK, Bushings are all good...
