I bought a mk8 st last week and found out a couple days ago that my boot button was broken. When I went to view the car I used the key to unlock the boot and it didn’t even cross my mind to check the button on the boot. The seller didn’t mention anything about it and I doubt they were even aware of it. I bought a replacement off eBay which is a whole unit with the reverse camera.
