Hi I have 2011 1.6 diesel and recently noticed that the starter motor is engaging longer than normal and the engine sounds like it's stuttering this only happens for a few seconds and then the engine put puts into life as normal the symptoms do not happen when starting the engine when it's hot. Around 6 weeks ago I lost almost all acceleration in 1st and 2nd gear. After some research I discovered the culprit was the valve that attaches to the vaccum pump. I purchased one online and it instantly fixed the issue.....till it broke 4 weeks later! So I purchased another from another vender. That one lasted 2 weeks! Notibally it was not very good quality. Can anyone advise me where I can get a decent replaicment (Its for a 1.0 Eco boost 2016)? Ideally not any of the around £10 ones on... Hi all. Sorry if I've posted this to the wrong forum... I have a 2017 focus ST diesel and a couple of weeks started having issues with the battery going flat . I've just got round to changing it , but when ive gone to start it just says 'service engine now'. doesnt even try to turn over... also getting a yellow warning saying ' hill start assist unavailable. .. not sure if I've screwed something up when changing the battery? Evening guys. Ive recently bought a 2017 1.5tdci TX which was previously a Cat S and has been repaired. I keep getting the 'headlamp malfunction' warning on the dash and the left lamp does a light show and cant align. Our old 3 door, 56 plate has been lying for a couple of years but we're needing to shift it. Got the key out but the key fob seems to be dead. Tried replacing the battery but still doesnt seem to have helped. Just not reacting at all. There is only a key slot on the drivers door, nothing on passenger side and nothing for the boot. The blade wont manually turn/open the door and I'm not sure if it's either seized or deadlocked?
