Anyway, my 2007 Focus ST/XR5 Turbo currently has one of those K&N cold air intakes with the filter near the bottom of the car, which was poorly fitted by a previous owner... I'm really not a fan of the current system as I'm quite scared that this system will suck up some water from a small puddle or some dust, and destroy the engine... Hi, does anyone else on here seem to have problems with there paint on the car especially the boot lid. Over the last couple months I have noticed the paint flaking away from the inside of the boot lid and onto the outside of the boot lid. Then yesterday I have noticed the paint has flaked off near to the ford badge. There is no signs of paint bubbles anywhere near the area. Hi everybody, I am in the market for a Mk2 ST-2/3 and new to this forum ? Having been a bit obsessed for the last few months and having my heart set on buying one... I still have some questions before I pull the trigger. Bit of background, I'm 25 and live in the East of England. My commute is about 25-300 miles per week. Have had an FN2 before and a couple of BMW's recently (E60 530d and E90 330d). The E60 was mapped, EGR, DPF etc etc and returned 22mpg. I am not new to high running costs... How do all I've just collected my third st.. I say collected, we pushed it to my house from three doors Down It wouldn't start showed all the signs of the dash fault. All the lights and faults. Flashing Immobiliser and not starting But got it checked and resoldered today and made no difference. After checking earth's etc. Got to the bcm in the passenger footwell.
