Hello there, It's been bitterly cold(temps near -20 below zero) and recently my battery died. I was able to get it jump started okay but now when I drive it, I am experiencing low or reduced engine power. When I press on the gas pedal, the car will go forward but it go to a high rpm before shifting normally. Is this normal because it's been so cold? I've been having issues with my car battery dying. I manually turn off the headlights when I park and I have the interior lights set to stay off, even when opening the doors. I brought my car in to have the battery and alternator tested. They reported that both the battery and alternator are fine. When it's dead, it doesn't sound like the car is even trying to start. Hi guys I am having a problem with my 2006 ford focus central locking and indicator lamps which i think is somehow stemming from the trunk not opening. I was unloading the car the other day and the boot wouldn't open with the normal open button on the fob but it does open with the boot unlock button on the fob. When i try to lock the car then it tries to lock itself for half a second and then opens again. Hi there, My 2005 Ford Focus S 2.0 4 door hatch suddenly stopped turning over this morning, however I push started it and runs good. It jump started the other car in my driveway so battery is sweet. I looked underneath at the starter motor and noticed the oil pressure sensor has completely snapped off, the connector cable looks fine, I pulled the broken piece out. Hello, We have a 2014 Ford focus hatchback. It's been having the common jerking and recently they replaced the clutch. However problems persisted and becoming worse. To the point of the car just stopping on the road. Losing acceleration while the rpm gauge shows it's going high. The car will drive fine then I feel the gears struggling and slipping.
