I'm considering a 2010 toureg tdi, 170,xxx miles for 7k. I don't know much about the v6 tdi's; am very familiar with 4cylinder ALH's and BHW's. Does the v6 use timing belt or a timing chain? Recommended service life for either? I assume it is much more difficult to work on compared to an ALH. How well do the automatic transmissions hold up? And, anything else I should be concerned with? Hello, I am looking for the part number for a replacement of the skid plate on a 2014 Touareg TDI. I have been able to find the gas model but not the diesel. My mechanics new assistant did not fasten the front bolts back up properly and it nosedived down to the pavement while my wife was driving. Hello everyone, Our 2015 Touareg TDI has flashed up the brake wear light. I'm planning on ordering new pads and gear but I'm unsure if the brake indicator sensors are on each corner or 1 sensor for the front and 1 sensor for the rear? Also, as I want to put the car on jackstands and take the rotors off but have the car moveable slightly, would I be fine attaching the wheels back onto the hubs without the rotors so that the car can be rolled in my garage? Since my injector issues stated, I regularly check under the hood after a drive just to check that there's nothing out of place. I continue to do so after having the injectors and valve cover gaskets replaced. Something that was happening prior to the repairs was a mix of what appears to be fuel/oil sprayed up onto the underside of the hood, driver side, near the windshield.
