Dear all, This is the first time my 2015 Touareg 3.0 TDI is causing me problems after many years of very happy ownership but only 25000 miles. I was driving today and the message: "error start and stop" showed up on the screen followed by the engine error management light. My Tuareg seems to work fine but when I turn it off it shakes a bit. I took out my scanning tool, Cariste, and it says: "error P2111 throttle actuator stuck open" and engine error message 09124 but cannot find what this... I have been getting water in a harness connector that causes erratic behavior in three areas; front airbag crash sensors, ambient air temperature sensor, hood latch sensor. Video of water in harness. I have drained the connector multiple times. At first I thought it was related to a pressure washing. Then even after some rainy days it happened. Well the tailgate of my Touareg doesn't open all the way up. I took my car to College Park VW and they did not even fix the tailgate, saying that its originally like that... So they brought out another Touareg and opened the tailgate...it opened all the way...and they still tried to find fault with our car. Greetings, I have had a US service dept replaced a front sensor for over 4100.00 dollars and then they find the camera in the windshield that is part of the alignment process is not working and they cannot complete the job. My first question is why the camera never came up as a failed item when the diagnostics were run and yes, I can see how it works with the ACC and front assist, question why the other system i.e. the Lane Assist was never seen in the diagnostics? Hi, so I purchased my off-road toy, a 2005 Volkswagen Touareg V8 my headlights are on constantly, regardless of the switch position. Now I've had plenty of issues with my headlights, such as fried wires, but now replaced. I just wonder why my headlights come on and off but that was resolved by making sure it was seated correctly with the internal connectors. So if my headlights are on constantly, regardless if they are in the on, off or parking light position, And my fog lights don't ever... Headlights on All the time ..read more

The little solenoid has shorted out. I get a P0010 code and the engine light is on. Maybe someone here has replaced their cam adjusters and kept the old one. This little solenoid and valve is part of the assembly ..read more

Hey Ya'll, I'm a lifelong VW owner and currently drive a '12 Golf R, 2-door, stage 2 little beastie I've owned since new. After selling our home in Denver after 28 years and full-time RVing for the past almost 2 years we've bought a home on the top of mountain in N Georgia.
