Hey Folks. I've got a 2010 Touareg, TDI. Sometime ago the adblue warning light came on and would not go off after I filled it, after a couple of days the warning went away and seemed fine. I figured maybe an issue with the gauge and thought nothing of it. Fast forward and I had the warning light come on again, once again I filled the tank and the warning and no restart countdown would not clear. A month ago I couldn’t start the engine after driving 100km and stopping for 30min. The engine simply couldn’t turn past TDC, so I suspected a hydraulic lock due to water entering the combustion chamber via the EGR. I was correct the air cooler was leaking. Unfortunately, there was also quite an amount of coolant in the engine sump, with no creamy goo anywhere in the engine. My 2004 3.2 V6 Touareg failed last week. The info display told me I had a steering malfunction, and the car would not allow the ignition to come on and the car was stuck in park.
