Hey, I just got this used 2014 Tiguan with Tiptronic and butterfly shifters on the steering wheel. Car has 112.000 km and is probably still on the original transmission oil as it's not so common to change it in Brazil. I'm planning to change the oil in 3.000 km, when I can bring less expensive oil from Europe. My first tour with it driving up- and downhill by the coast got me a little scared. Hi to all: I took my 2016 Tiguan-TSI motor to the VW dealership to get help with EPC light (code P0087). After 2 days they called and state my car need 2 test done. The first one the compression test and the fuel pressure test. The next day another call stating they need to get new spark plug and coils ( the ones my car has right now are almost brand news, after mark parts but they work fine). I believe my PCV valve is faulty. I also think it is in the stuck open position. The car started having a slight shudder every now and then while idling. When the car warmed up it stopped the shudder. However, today it was slightly worse (more noticable) and it did not stop shuddering when the car got to temperature. Hi All Had a issue with my parking system over the weekend worked fine Sat night went to go out Sunday got the standard long beep followed by flashing parking sensor button 2011 2.0d Tiguan blue motion I have tried wd40 on them and gave them a wipe no luck with that. Checked fuse that’s fine. Have checked each sensor can hear faint clicking and when you touch them you can feel pulsing, I’m assuming this means all sensors are working. Well, we've finally pulled the trigger on purchasing a 2024 ID.4 which means my beloved Tiggy is up for sale. Not going to post the Autotrader link since I doubt anyone here actually needs another Tiguan or lives in Alberta It's been a fantastic car and I have loved almost every minute of driving it, although at 87,000 kms that's a bit less than most people here! Hi Just brought last Sunday a r-line Tiguan face lift every thing working fine until we’ve just done a 100 journey in it. Has anyone purchased the VW beam deflectors, I previously had a Passat for which I purchased VW genuine beam deflectors, very sturdy, would last for years. Imagine my horror when enquiring in the main dealer for deflectors for my Tig being informed that all they could offer was a plastic overlay for ?17 pounds. Apparently you throw them away after use. I just got my 2024 Tiguan today and I am playing with the Radio. I thought when the Car if turned off(Hit the Start button to shut engine off} That the car would be shut off? Just went into the car without the FOB shut the door and turned on the Radio. I always thought if the Car is turned off that the Radio would not go on without having the FOB in the car?
