Hey everyone newbie here so I have a 2017Tiguan that the right rear caliper or parking brake was stuck on, so all I did was disconnect the electrical connector and shoot power to it and it retracted all the way but now my parking brake switch is flashing and whenever I try to engage the parking brake, it will only lock the left rear. 2017 Wolfsburg radio was fine, except for a small dead spot on touch panel, a few days ago it started turning on for about 20 seconds and off for 5 seconds. Radio plays, display appears, all presets are gone, powers down, then powers up (Welcome to Volkswagen) camera works while backing up if in reverse during the 20 second interval. Any ideas? This has been going on for a few months. Basically when I go to start the car it's about a 50/50 chance the steering wheel is locked/Power steering off (I can still turn the wheel, but it's very difficult). After watching youtube I found a way to "unlock" it by turning the ignition off, turning the wheel to either side, as far as it can go, keeping the pressure on, turn the ignition on. Hi there, is it possible to open the hood while being locked out? Hi all, after some advise/ knowledge in regards to a misfire that is proving to be VERY hard to pinpoint and repair, even after being at a VW dealer workshop for over two weeks now. Misfire started a few months ago, very mild, only on cold idle, once warm nothing, no engine light. Misfire got worse, I consulted a mechanic who waved it off (bad mechanic yes).
