We just got the CR-V to drive and tow behind an old Diesel Pusher. I love Honda's and how they are built. My 2018 CRV cranks up then just shut off. All the Christmas lights started going off. Tried to crank and started clicking. I was thinking Dead Battey or alternator. But it was running and then shut off. Anyway boosted off with jumper cable real easy. Drove home about 2 miles turned car off and it cranked 3 times no problem. I have a 2002 honda crv with 170k miles. I recently got the p0505 code. I cleaned out the original then put it back together then the idle would surge( I did not do Idle relearn, I had no idea). I then bought another IAC valve (did idle relearn), and it still surged. Bought another just incase (did idle relearn) and it is still surging. The idle relearn I am doing is 1. Hi All, Going to buy a Sport L Hybrid shortly and my wife wants me to buy the Homelink Mirror to open the garage but...I just came from a 2015 Pilot and it was dangerous in that if I parked on my drive and a burglar broke in, he could use the mirror to open the garage door and get into our house. Our two Subarus have to be energized for that feature to work. I suggested we don't get the Homelink and get small remotes for our key ring. What do you people here think? Thanks, Ned ..read more

Hello. I have a CRV 2WD EX 2023. I purchased it a month ago and noticed that Apple CarPlay doesn't reflect what's on my iPhone's Google Maps. I prefer to view the Google Maps option via a list of step-by-step of each turn ahead. I can see the settings I prefer on my iPhone 13 Pro, but they do not reflect on my car's display. Hey all, I have a 2013 EX with 106K miles. I took it in for an oil change recently and the shop said there is some oil leakage and noted possible valve cover or timing chain cover as culprits. They just said to monitor the situation and did not push any repairs at that time. Hi, My car has nearly 100K miles. One week ago, when I was driving I noticed that when the car was accelerating or climbing a hill, I would hear a noise. It sounded like air whooshing. I did not hear it if I was moving at a constant speed. If the car is in park or on the lift, the noise cannot be produced. My mechanic does not have a diagnosis. Any insights would be appreciated.
