So, we’ve discovered that on Spotify, there are a fe ..read more

I’m in a season of life right now that, don’t get me wrong I’m super grateful for, and that also demands a lot of my time and attention and emotional and physical and psychological resources. and while the responsibility can certainly feel overwhelming at times when I choose to get into overwhelm, I’m also in a season of life that I most definitely wouldn’t have been able to navigate even a couple of years ago. This is an important theme for this episode: the theme of becoming an energetic match to the life you want. Because, this life I have now, with the successful business that has reache ..read more

Disclosure: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning I will earn a small commission if you decide to make a purchase through my links. It’s day number (???) of COVID Quarantine. Nobody really knows whether it’s Sunday or Thursday, because every day is Monday, but every day is also Friday. Taking a trip to the grocery store feels almost as exhilarating as being invited to go backstage at a Backstreet Boys concert (but back when they were still cool). And for those of us with children or stepchildren, we’ve (sort of?) settled into our new normal. From the looks of things (at least from the ..read more

Current Stepmom Trends I did that thing that I always regret doing, and went and poked around some of those free Facebook groups that claim to be stepmom support groups but really they’re, for the most part, just a whole lot of blind leading the blind and hurting women ripping out each other’s throats and calling it advice. If that’s what folks think a support group is then yikes… Now DISCLAIMER, I know those groups can be really helpful for a lot of women, especially at the beginning when you are just realizing maybe for the first time that what you’ve been feeling as a stepmom is actually r ..read more
