All of a sudden, after being parked for a week or so, on my Golf 1.5 TSI manual the "eco (2-cylinder) mode" has stopped working completely. On top of that, the gear change indication has increased the RPMs considerably. For example, it now asks me to downshift to first gear unless I am doing at least 13mph, while previously it was perfectly happy being in 2nd gear at 8mph. Forum newbie needing assistance. So, due to very little use (3.5K miles/year on average) and high running costs not making it worth it, I am considering selling my 2019 MK7.5 GTI and "downgrading" to a Mk8 1.5 TSi EVO or similar - likely a 2021 model or thereabouts. Hi All, I picked up my Golf Mk 8 R-Line Diesel yesterday - brand spanking new ;-) I have found the overhead control panel for the sunroof and Courtesy lamps will fail regularly. Hello, I picked up my brand new GTE just over a week ago - it's been brilliant so far, but yesterday the infotainment system crashed and has not come back. It started off by rebooting several times and finally it just stayed black. I can start the car, but there are lots of warnings around various driver assist functions no longer being available... so although the car is technically drivable, it's really not. I have a 2022 Golf Mk8 eHybrid (similar to GTE, which is better marketed than the eHybrid) and am interested in a manual that has technical diagrams for reference and knowing the names of components in VW's hybrid vehicle. I looked at the Haynes online resources but the preview is not detailed enough for me to determine if the detail for the eHybrid is included. Are there other resources, perhaps?
