I got these from one love that came off an R32 and refreshing them. I thought they were early gruven ones but only place i seen a picture of them was uro tuning and they advertise as gruven, however on gruven parts they are different. I know the lower part should not be spherical so hence my interest with identifying. I actually already have new helm spherical bearings that are the exact same just zinc coated but i prefer to see if i can just buy the... Can anyone identify this adjustable endlink ..read more

I've searched high and low for a replacement caliper bleed screw for the front calipers for the R32. I've come to terms that they are just impressible to find so I set out on finding one that works. OEM size: M7x1.0x32(ish) I opted to test out Speed Bleeders: SB7100 (Carbon Steel) or SB7100-SS (Stainless Steel) and can confirm they fit though they are about 2mm longer than OEM. they also go from a 7mm hex (OEM) to an 8mm hex (Speedbleeders) Just passing this along to save someone... Hi, I had my upper and lower timing chains, guides, rails, clutch, etc among other things replaced on my 2004 R32 by an independent shop. Prior to the work, the car ran amazing. After the work was completed, something feels off with the car, like a lack of torque and power among other things. The mechanic claims nothing is wrong with the car so I took it to the VW Dealership for further inspection who stated my timing is slightly out-of-spec. Of course, the first mechanic is disputing it... R32 Timing - Slightly out of spec ..read more

This is my wife's R32 that we just got back after 13 years. She bought it brand new in 2004, but due to business aspirations sold it in 2011. We would always joke, if we ever found it again we would buy it. Throughout the years we would see other colors for sale, but rarely TR. We saw one TR that was too modded and way out of our budget some time ago. Well fast forward to this past week. My brother-in-law is a dealer and came across a car that looked eerily familiar pop up at the dealer... It's back after 13 years ..read more

Hi! I need to find an expert VW/AUDI transmission repair shop anywhere in the US or Canada that is very familiar with the 6 speed manual transmission from the 2004 VW R32 MK4. 2004 & 2008 R32 Tire Questions

I still have the original fix-a-flat “spare” set up on my 2004 R32. I want to go with either full size spare (I have an extra OEM wheel) or a space saver. Ideas/suggestions? I have to replace tires. I am considering Cooper because they are still an American company and some tires are still made in the US. I had Pirellis on my 85 GTI (P7s?) and liked them. I use Michelin and Continentals on my bicycles and have been impressed with the quality and performance. Again, replacement... 2004 & 2008 R32 Tire Questions ..read more
