The passenger door and boot are on different keys each having their own separate key. Hopefully a more straightforward question than my last thread.... Somehow I appear to be missing any wiring for a radio in my Mk2. I suspect I may have removed it unintentionally when I first took the wiring loom out of the car 2 years ago. So my question is simply, what wires am I going to need to add and where will I connect them to the fusebox? I have wiring for speakers run already but nothing beyond that. Help is much appreciated ..read more

Hi! I believe my car idles weirdly. It stays stable around 900rpm but it sounds uneven. And once I rev it up to 2000rpm it drops back a bit under the idle rpm. I don’t know anything about these engines but it just seems weird. I thought it might be the air mass sensor but those engines doesn’t have it lol. Now I don’t know what to think so I am asking you guys. I will upload the video if idle/rev later. Also my fuel consumption is around 10l/100km (23mpg) however I drive it. I have been... Here we go. Firstly a diagram of the gear lever etc etc, taken from LLL Parts. I shall be referring to this. View attachment 36322 What we started with. Very kindly donated by @afbiker02 View attachment 36319 View attachment 36320 View attachment 36321 I started, obviously by dismantling it. First thing was to remove the bottom plate. To do this you simply gently prise up the tabs until it comes free. This was what I found inside. View attachment 36323 ... Gear Lever rebuild Mk3 O2A VR6 ..read more
