Spring is here and the fashion forecast is bright and sunny. Polka dots are still in fashion as are wide leg palazzo pants. If you had told me that these would be flattering on a 5’3″ woman, such as myself, I would have balked. Not one to ever shy away from color, I wear red every chance I get. Bright colors and jewel tones suit me better than pastels, which tend to wash me out. It was Friday at 6:30 PM and we were due at the restaurant at 7:30. The lighting in my backyard was good, and I wanted to photograph my dinner outfit…the only problem was that no one was home. Here’s a fun fact: Barbie and I share a birthday. We were both born on October 24, 1959. That fact coupled with all of the hype surrounding the Barbie movie, I just had to take advantage of our twinning.
