Thanksgiving might be my favorite time of year in New York. Yes, mostly because it kicks off the Christmas season. But growing up I was fascinated by the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Every year my family made a point to gather around the tv and watch the Broadway performers and larger-than-life balloons travel down the streets of Manhattan.
