GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) Offensive tackle Andre Dillard signed with the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, one month after the Tennessee Titans released him. Dillard, 28, made 10 starts and played 16 games at left tackle for the Titans last season, but was benched at one point in the season as the Titans started four different players at that spot. The Green Bay Packers will play the Philadelphia Eagles when the NFL holds its first regular-season game in Brazil on Sept. 6. The matchup in Sao Paulo will mark the first time since 1970 that the NFL has played a Friday night game on the season's opening weekend. MINNEAPOLIS (AP) The Minnesota Vikings stayed aggressive in free agency Tuesday by adding former Green Bay running back Aaron Jones and 2018 third overall draft pick Sam Darnold as a temporary replacement at quarterback for Kirk Cousins. Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari announced on social media Monday, March 11, that he's leaving the Packers after 11 seasons. The Packers confirmed the news in a press release Monday afternoon. The Green Bay Packers got off to a busy start in free agency, agreeing to deals with running back Josh Jacobs and safety Xavier McKinney, and releasing two longtime stalwarts.
