Hi, I installed a new Kenwood dnr476s head unit along with idatalink maestro Rr, the HRNI1, the HU-Ken1, and the nav1 adapter. It works well except for the backup camera. It works when the radio is in the booting sequence but when it's all started the camera isn't working anymore. Not when going in reverse nor putting it in camera mode. So the directions say to wire my 2nd battery to the isolator then the isolator to the alternator. What happens if I just wire the 2nd battery to the isolator then to factory battery terminal on the fuse box (location is closer)? Isn't it the same thing? Hi - I have a 4-year-old AVH-W4400NEX that I've been using with Samsung phones (S9, S21, S23) for Android Auto. All worked perfectly until recently.
