I’ve been suffering from pretty terrible night sweats, so bad where my hands nails are drenched and in the mornings they’re clear like they’ve been in water all night. When they dry then they look discolored and are also flaking? But my nails don’t feel weak, they don’t bend, they can grow long but will crack in the corners and then break clean off. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

From a beach day, hence the little shrimpy guy. I have a seven month old so I keep things a lot shorter now though probably still longer than many moms would dare. Just missing my old nails and looking forward to eventually getting them back one day. ?

Wow this has been a journey. This sub has been my biggest support seeing all of your success. It was my New Year’s resolution to have my nails be natural and long. After months of peeling and breaking my nails feel strong and my beds are longer. Plus they’re finally at a point I am very happy with. Thank you all again for your motivation! :)
Products: crystal nail file, jojoba oil, gel polish (1 day break after removal of gel to breathe)

I pretty much always keep my nails painted, and use the Bliss Kiss oil pen at least once a day (usually more).. I also take hair/skin/nail vitamins. My nail polish remover I use is pure acetone so I'm thinking maybe I need a gentler one? I use a lot of glitter polish so it removes it really easily, though... It just seems like once my nails reach a certain length the start to peel at the tips.
Any advice? :)

Removed my polish for a new mani and I’m so happy with my progress ☺️ I have almond shape on my ✨star✨ hand and squoval for my dominant hand. I feel like they look longer with the squoval but the almond looks more natural to me. Thoughts? PS idk why my pinky nails bends up like that and makes it look so short ? I haven’t figured out the right posing yet lol

I’ve been sticking with sheer nails while growing out some bad breaks on my right thumb and left pinkie. I’m very tempted to get a poly gel extension on my thumb and pinkie to match the others.

Most evident on thumb and pointer. Not as obvious after hand cream and cuticle oil
