I painted my nails with OPI Sheer Creme Finish Nude (no top coat). The color is beige pink and I love it. However, within a few days the color on the nails slowly turn to black. Especially the tip is dark and it’s the worst for the thumb and index and middle fingers. My guess is that it’s reacting to some chemicals I touch? My nails just aren't what they used to be. They are getting dry and thin and ridged. I know that collagen and cuticle oil can help but I'm looking for an immediate improvement. I've heard that using a builder gel can be a good way to go. I have an extensive nail polish collection so if I could still use them on top of something I'd be really happy. I'm looking for a light pink shade (sheer or opaque) that's not streaky. I've tried so many different shades in Essie, OPI, Olive and June, Hermes, and Bio Sculpture (Gemini, not gel).
