Today, the first ship visited Disney’s newest island paradise, Lookout Cay. Cruisers are reporting that it is a long walk from the ship to the trams to take you to the beach, between 11 to 16 minutes, depending on how fast you walk. From there, you can board a tram for a fifteen-minute ride to the beaches. This week, there are a large number of Disney Wish cruises available to book for a discount. If you haven’t had a chance to sail on the Wish, this might be a good time to book. Hopefully, we will see new itineraries for late 2025 and early 2026. I don’t think we will see dates for the newest ships, Disney Adventure and Disney Destiny, that are going to set sail next year. They will probably have their own release separate from the older ships. Disney Cruise Lines has updated room service across the fleet to match the menu on the Disney Wish. Passengers have been reporting the changes for the last couple of weeks. Some have said that “Cake of the Day” is no longer available. I even read one person say that Mickey Bars are no longer available through room service.
