The monolithic integration of gallium phosphide (GaP), with its green band gap, high refractive index, large optical non-linearity, and broad transmission range on silicon (Si) substrates, is crucial for Si-based optoelectronics and integrated photonics. However, material mismatches, including thermal expansion mismatch and polar/non-polar interfaces, cause defects such as stacking faults, microtwins, and anti-phase domains in GaP, adversely affecting its electronic properties. Our paper presents a structural and defect analysis using scanning transmission electron microscopy, high-resolution ..read more

Deepfake technology uses artificial intelligence to create realistic but false audio, images, and videos. Deepfake technology poses a significant threat to the authenticity of visual content, particularly in live-stream scenarios where the immediacy of detection is crucial. Existing Deepfake detection approaches have limitations and challenges, prompting the need for more robust and accurate solutions. This research proposes an innovative approach: combining eye movement analysis with a hybrid deep learning model to address the need for real-time Deepfake detection. The proposed hybrid deep le ..read more

Fuzz testing technology is an important approach to detecting SQL injection vulnerabilities. Among them, coverage-guided gray-box fuzz testing technology is the current research focus, and has been proved to be an effective method. However, for SQL injection vulnerability, coverage-guided gray-box fuzz testing as a detection method has the problems of low efficiency and high false positives. In order to solve the above problems, we propose a potentially vulnerable code-guided gray-box fuzz testing technology. Firstly, taint analysis technology is used to locate all the taint propagation paths ..read more

With the continuous exploration of space science, a large number of domain-related materials and scientific literature are constantly generated, mostly in the form of text, which contains rich and unexplored domain knowledge. Natural language processing technology has made rapid development and pre-trained language models provide promising information extraction tools. However, due to the strong professionalism of space science, there are many domain concepts and technical terms. Moreover, Chinese texts have complex language structures and word combinations, which may yield suboptimal performa ..read more

The combined use of multiple medications is common in treatment, which may lead to severe drug–drug interactions (DDIs). Deep learning methods have been widely used to predict DDIs in recent years. However, current models need help to fully understand the characteristics of drugs and the relationships between these characteristics, resulting in inaccurate and inefficient feature representations. Beyond that, existing studies predominantly focus on analyzing a single DDIs, failing to explore multiple similar DDIs simultaneously, thus limiting the discovery of common mechanisms underly ..read more

Renewable energy sources such as solar are becoming increasingly popular worldwide. Mathematical derivation is used to show the structural framework of PV cells and their models with a single-diode configuration. This paper proposed a two-step optimization technique for extracting the unknown parameters of solar PV cells and modules. The implementation of the proposed techniques is to find the unknown parameters of the PV module from Kyocera (KC200GT). First, we configured the single-diode configuration of the PV equation in terms of five unknown parameters (Iph, I0, Vt, Rs, and Rsh) and in te ..read more

Visual simultaneous localization and mapping (VSLAM) is pivotal for intelligent mobile robots. VSLAM systems can be used to identify scenes by obtaining massive amounts of redundant texture information from the environment. However, VSLAM faces a major challenge in dynamic low-light environments, in which the extraction of feature points is often difficult, leading to tracking failure with mobile robots. Therefore, we developed a method to improve the feature point extraction method used for VSLAM. We first used the contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE) method to increase th ..read more

To improve the breakdown voltage (BV), a GaN-based high-electron-mobility transistor with a hybrid AlGaN back barrier (HBB-HEMT) was proposed. The hybrid AlGaN back barrier was constructed using the Al0.25Ga0.75N region and Al0.1G0.9N region, each with a distinct Al composition. Simulation results of the HBB-HEMT demonstrated a breakdown voltage (1640 V) that was 212% higher than that of the conventional HEMT (Conv-HEMT) and a low on-resistance (0.4 mΩ·cm2). Ultimately, the device achieved a high Baliga’s figure of merit (7.3 GW/cm2) among reported devices of sim ..read more

Due to the potential for airborne radar to capture incomplete observational information regarding unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) trajectories, this study introduces a novel approach called Node-former, which integrates neural ordinary differential equations (NODEs) and the Informer framework. The proposed method exhibits high accuracy in trajectory prediction, even in scenarios with prolonged data interruptions. Initially, data outside the acceptable error range are discarded to mitigate the impact of interruptions on prediction accuracy. Subsequently, to address the irregular sampling caused b ..read more

The current sorting process for winter jujubes relies heavily on manual labor, lacks uniform sorting standards, and is inefficient. Furthermore, existing devices have simple structures and can only be sorted based on size. This paper introduces a method for detecting surface defects on winter jujubes using convolutional neural networks (CNNs). According to the current situation in the winter jujube industry in Zhanhua District, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, China, we collected winter jujubes with different surface qualities in Zhanhua District; produced a winter jujube dataset containing 20 ..read more
