On Sunday evening, the Seattle Kraken acquired defenseman Jaycob Megna from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for a 2023 fourth-round Draft pick. He has one more year remaining on his contract which comes with $762,500 cap hit. Per NHL.com, Seattle will notify San Jose by June 15 if it will be their own fourth round selection or the one obtained from the Colorado Avalanche when they traded Kurtis MacDermid in July of 2021.
