T-Mobile has announced a new “Home Internet Plus” as part of their latest newsroom post. The service is quite similar to their standard Home Internet plan but with a few added perks. Today, T-Mobile announced two new Home Internet plans: Home Internet “Plus” and “Away”. The latter, Away, is designed for customers who are always on-the go, and need Wi-Fi at many different locations around the country. We’ve reported previously on the issue of “SIM Swapping”, where a bad actor illegally and fraudulently obtains access to someone’s phone line by swapping the SIM card on the line to one they possess. Since then, there have been four different gateway models given to customers, the latest of which, the “Gen 4“, being manufactured by both Sercomm and Arcadyan.
