It's been a while since I've written something (the last time I did it I felt like it wasn't quite right to do so) But this time I won't teach you how to port your disgusting (good) rom hack from sonic 1 to the Sega CD/Mega CD, forget about that (threatens Devon to explain to you)...This time we will port music! Now, firstly I know what you're thinking. "Didn't Natsumi/Aurora Fields did that tutorial several years ago?" To which my fellow friend, my answer is yes. However, to me that Tutorial was a bit awkward and didn't made much sense. So in this tutorial, I'm going to show you step-by-step on how to port the tempo algorithm to Sonic 1. And explaining what it's doing in the comments.... [Newer] Put Sonic 3K's Tempo Algorithm to Sonic 1 ..read more

I wasn’t really planning on making this thread just yet, but people let me know that others might need this driver so this seems to be the best place to put it. MDMidi is a planned update to the MID2SMPS midi driver meant to add various features and quality of life, so making music is easier. List of currently planned features: Chord mode - Set certain channels to play chords of another channel Pseudo-polyphony - Change how a channel handles too many notes for a channel,... It would be nice if Sonic 06 E3 Demo was found but I seen a older thread about the E3 Demo build back in March 23, 2011. They said some YouTube User named CRASHICTH had or has an a copy of the E3 Build Demo of Sonic '06. There was also a defunct YouTube video link in the thread. Someone said "He provided a link for the 360 demo but not for the E3 PS3 one. Based on the comments I think it's because he doesn't know how to rip/copy PS3 games , but he definitely knows how to rip 360 ones". "A... Around this time last year, I made a batch of dru—I mean tutorials that set this community on fire. People have smashed their ROM hacks into oblivion by creating cult classics that no one has even sought to make in their entire lives. Some of you are jealous, and some of you have skill issues. I noted that and ensured whatever I made next would be the pinnacle. It seems like the timing is right.
