Anyone know what this downshift issue could be? The truck has 112k miles on it.

F150 crew cab. Is there a way to determine how big of a lift I'll need if I'm going to put 37 X 12.5R17 off roading tires on my truck?

So last week my company bought 100 F-550 chassis from a dealer where I am located and General Manager there sweetened the deal by offering me an allocation of a 2023 Raptor R at cost which will be delivered next month. He has told me though that if I want I can swap it to an allocation for the 2024 refreshed version but delivery wont be until May/April 2024. I need to make a decision this week otherwise the the 2023 allocation will get pushed and the next earliest delivery will be December, so no chance I can wait until the Detroit autoshow to see what the changes are. I have seen spy shots o ..read more

Hey guys, I am in the market for some new front shocks. Which should I consider for my 2011 F250 6.2l?

Like the title says, I need some new front shocks. I have a 2011 F250 6.2l that is my ranch truck. This truck works it’s butt of and drives on rocky terrain a lot. Need some rigid front shocks, I’m getting lots of play in my steering wheel. I figured I would start with shocks cause pot holes feel like earth quakes and if I hit a bump just right it jerks my steering wheel. Sometimes if I take a sharp turn, it feels as if I have to over correct to end up straight again. Any recommendations and what else I should look out for to make the ride a bit nicer? I don’t really care if it’s cloud smooth ..read more

Ford excursion help diagnosing

I have a 2000 Ford excursion recently it feels like it’s having problems shifting. When I hit the acceleration, it sounds like it’s having issues shifting and then it jerks. The “service engine soon” has come on and it stays on but then my shifter on the right says, overdrive and off, but the off button is illuminated. And sometimes it blinks. I will comment back and let you know how many times siblings if that is of any significance.. submitted by /u/Civil_Apartment_3503 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

X-Plan

Couple questions. Hoping one of y’all have worked at a dealership and can help me out. Do all dealerships accept X-Plan pricing? Does the dealer have to sell it at the xplan price? What if the asking price is $10k over MSRP for “market adjustment”? Also, what happened to Costco Auto pricing? Used to be $10k under MSRP on some models. submitted by /u/BroDux3 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

F150 Exhaust Manifold Bolts Broken

Can I get a post from everyone that has this issue on their F150, regardless of engine. I have tried and tried to get Ford to do this work as EVERYONE I personally know who owns a 2000s F150 has this problem. As you might expect it's falling on deaf ears. I would just like to know how many others are suffering in silence, or have PAID THE MAN to get it fixed. I have three bolts left on the port side, and 4 on the starboard. (yes I also own a boat). My truck sounds like a steam-punk wet-dream when I get on it at all. Don't get me wrong here, I have owned Ford for 30 years, and my next truck wi ..read more
